THANKS TO ALL OF YOU FOR YOUR WELL WISHES. I AM FEELING BETTER AND STRONGER EVERY
DAY SINCE MY CANCER TREATMENTS HAVE STOPPED. IT HAS BEEN CLOSE TO A YEAR NOW SINCE I FOUND OUT THAT I AM IN REMISSION.
THANKS FOR YOUR PRAYERS. THEY HELPED ME GET TO WHERE I AM TODAY. I HAD MY PORTA CATH REMOVED AT THE END OF THIS JULY. WHAT
A WONDERFUL FEELING THAT WAS! MY GOAL IS STILL TO GET ON MY BIKE - MAYBE SOON. I DID DO THAT RECENTLY FOR A PICTURE FOR THE
MAG (SIT ON THE BIKE) NO RIDE, THOUGH. SOON! CANE IS STILL WITH ME - IT'S LIKE HAVING A SHADOW. I GOT FITTED FOR A BRACE RECENTLY
AND THAT HASN'T DONE MUCH, EXCEPT GET IN THE WAY. I AM STILL PLANNING ON PLAYING IN A GOLF TOURNAMENT IN OCTOBER WITH
MY DAD. I NEED TO START PRACTICING! HOPEFULLY THAT WILL GIVE ME ENOUGH TIME TO REINVENT MY SWING.

UPDATE: I had that golf tournament with my dad and
it was the bomb! It was a grueling two day tournament but it was well worth it. We didn't win but it was great practice for
the next tourney. Atleast, now I know my strengths and limitations and can work on them.
I didn't even fall down
one single time...and that's always good! But, getting out there and working it, I now know that even with a deranged golf
stance that I can still hit the ball just as far as any of the other women who partook in this event. Look out in the Spring...I
will be ready!
Went to Duke for a checkup in January
and everything is still A-OK! Don't have to go back until June! My hair is finally long enough to pull back into a pony-tail,
yaye! It's the little things in life that make me happy!
I am also having my bike serviced...look out!
Last
check-up was in June...everything still in the clear. Getting stronger every day! So many bike events going on that I am staying
very busy trying to cover as many of them as possible.
Getting ready for
Easyrider in Wilson, N.C.! I will have a booth set up. Come by and say, "HEY!" See y'all there!

Rode my trike on 15 Jan 2010...what an awesome feeling! Still a few more finishing touches to be made,
including paint and I'll be back in the wind!
